A agroecologia pode ser a chave para a construção de sistemas agroalimentares que combatam a fome e promovam práticas agrícolas sustentáveis.

A prática também pode contribuir para a mitigação e adaptação às mudanças climáticas, favorecendo a restauração, diversificação e conservação dos serviços ecossistêmicos e evitando a degradação do solo.

Em parceria com a Sociedade Científica Latino-Americana de Agroecologia (SOCLA), a FAO lança um curso sobre o tema, disponível gratuitamente e em espanhol.

Com formato autodidata e duração de 40 horas, o curso é aberto a representantes dos setores público e privado, sociedade civil, academia, organismos internacionais, bem como pessoas com interesse no assunto.

Para se inscrever, é necessário entrar no site do Centro de Treinamento em Políticas Públicas da FAO, e criar um usuário com um endereço de e-mail. O sistema enviará uma mensagem de verificação, com instruções para entrar na plataforma e se cadastrar gratuitamente.
